I'm thinking of booking a 2 night Valentines trip for my DH and I.
This year it falls on a Sunday, last year it was on a Sat. I think Feb crowds are usually pretty low, but what about on a holiday weekend like Valentines?

We have APs and I wouldn't plan on spending that much time in the parks, probably walk around and try to do things we can't do with 2 little kids, plus a dinner at Napa Rose. Will the weekend be ok or should we try to do a mid week trip instead? Would love to be able to see Fireworks and Fantasmic...

It's also Presidents Day weekend so it will be pretty busy. Unless you have a PAP, both saturday and sunday are blocked out.

We went that weekend a few years ago and it was pretty busy, but since the economy is down, attendance hasnt been that good. Good Luck and have fun!

eeww... a 2 holiday weekend. Hm, I'll have to think about it. We do have PAP's, so we won't be blocked out...

You could always pray for rain and then the parks will empty out. ;)

It is a holiday weekend, and this year that weekend was BUSY. And even with the economy being down attendance is not. People are still going to DL.

I was there for Valentine's Day last year, with kiddos. It was insanely busy on Saturday and it would have sucked, except that we had family that arrived on Friday, and were able to stock up on Fast Passes before we got there on Saturday (we arrived at about 1:00), and they shared with us. So, with Fast Passes and a relaxed attitude, we had a great time. We had lunch at Blue Bayou, and it was very fun and they gave out special pins that day. I had boughten a brick to give me family for Valentine's day, and we went and found that. We did our fast pass rides and then our classic favorites like Jungle Cruise, and Pirates, and it was a great day. If I was going to do Fantasmic that day, I would have paid for the desert seating, as the crowds are insane. I think with your plan, that you would have a great time. The parks are so much easier without kiddos.
