Should we go to MVMCP on 12/8?

OK, I really can't decide. On the one hand, it seems crazy for the three of us (DH, DD 13 and me) to spend an additional $150 (CAD) when we already have park hopper passes for five days. But, it may be our only chance to see Wishes unless we fight the crowds on Saturday, 12/10 when MK is open until midnight. We're really not 'parade people' but we do love fireworks.

I like the idea of the festive atmosphere, but I know the decorations will also be up when we spend the Sunday at MK. I like the idea of very short lines for all rides, but then I read reports from last year's MVMCP and so many people complain how crowded it was, and about long lines for rides. (Other's do report walk on for all rides :confused3)

Help!

WE will be there that night!

We specifically planned our trip so that we could go the MVMCP. WE haven't been to it in 5 years, but I loved it so much that I could hardly wait to do it again. We have been experiencing different times of year at Disney for the last 5 years and now I am finally getting my way.

We are actually going twice.

If you love Disney and love Christmas, then how could you go wrong!?

If you love the holidays the party is a must see. It snows on main street, there are special shows and a parade that you can only watch at the party and the line for the rides is generally only 10-20 min long.

I finally made up my mind. I decided we (I ?) would really feeling like we were 'missing out' if we didn't go to the party, so I got tickets online. I think the Magic Kingdom is so different, and pretty at night, and I think it will be really lovely at Christmas. I think we'll even watch one of the parades, as we haven't seen any parades at WDW before.

Now I'm really excited about going. I didn't tell DH or DD13 about the MVMCP, so it will be a surprise. I hope they enjoy it.
