Well, after planning and replanning, I thought I had every detail down for our Sept. trip. We will be there for 7 days and have MYW tix for 5 and MNSSHP for 1. One day we are relaxing and the day of MNSSHP we will just hang out also until party time. Our original plan was 2 days Epcot, 1 at AK and 2 at the Magic Kingdom. Now that we are doing MNSSHP, we are thinking maybe we should skip one of the MK days and go to MGM. For the record we will have me, DH, DD(3) and DS(1). DH and I were at WDW in 1998 and went to MGM and I wasn't really impressed. I don't remember there being a lot for kids to do either(of course I wasn't looking at that time). Should we go there on one of our MK days? I really want the kids to get as much MK time as possible so I'm still willing to do 2 whole days there AND the MNSSHP. If we do go to MGM could it be a short day?

Personally, I would skip MGM. Your kids are young and unless they are die-hard Playhouse Disney fans, I don't think it would be worth it. Or play on a 1/2 day there.

My DD (8) has no desire for MGM, ecept to eat at the Sci-Fi and to check out the Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area. I'd like to take her on the Backlot Tour, and other than that, we've planned nothing more for MGM. We are going the day we arrive for a few hours and then probably over to AK (EMH night) or check out Illuminations at Epcot.

But that's just my opinion...anyone else?

Thanks for the advice. We don't even know what Playhouse Disney is :confused3 . I think the kids probably would prefer another full day in the MK.

My DD who was 3 last year loved the Ariel and Beauty and the Beast shows and can't wait to see them again this year so you might want to do MGM if your DD is a big princess fan.

My son loved MGM last year (he was 3) but he's a character fanatic and MGM was great for characters. We met Pooh, Tiger, Piglet, and Eyeore at park opening. Then the Playhouse Disney Show. Then we met Jojo and Donald by the trailers. Then we saw Chip & Dale and Goofy by the big hat. Then we met Sorcerer Mickey. All with NO LINES! You wait a lot longer to see characters at MK. But as far as rides go, there's not much. My son did the Playhouse show, the Muppet Movie, and that was it. We did a half day. My DH and I took turns on ToT and RnRC, which were both awesome.
