We are heading to WDW in mid June for a family get together. My sister suggested we go to Blizzard Beach water park. My sons at the time will be 8, 5 and 14 months. I know my two older ones will have a blast but I'm concerned about the 14 month old. Will he be able to enjoy things there? If so, alot or a little? I don't want to get there and my 14 month old not have any fun or get bored or even scared because he is too little for the park. Any help with this dilemna would be great.

We took my DD when she was 16 months and she had a blast.
The toddler area has small water slides and ther things for little ones. I would definately him especially if he likes water at all.

I am thinking that Typhoon Lagoon might be better for younger kids. I was there 10 years ago so I am not sure, but it seems that there is sandy beach to play on (kids meals come in a bucket with a shovel) as well as a play area. TL has a wave pool and BB has more big water slides. That being said, my DS12 loves BB and we have to go on every trip.

I recenlty repiled to another thread about TL, recomending BB for familes with young children. As mentioned before on this thread, Tikes Pike is a great play area for little ones (it is more gentel and kind then TL, more for ages 3 and under.) The kiddy area in TL has lots of water splashing in faces and no slides that parents can do with the children on their laps. At BB here is sand to play in, jumping and splashing waters and at the top there is this "snow hut" that has 4 slides coming off it. Parents can ride with the little one on their lap if needed (if the parent isn't "oversized". ) My DD loved this when she was 23 months old, and 2 years old and 2 1/2. She is a bit timid and I must of went down the little slide with her at least 50 times.

I say go for it, especailly if the weather is nice and others in the group will really enjoy it.

The wave pool at BB can be good witha little one, if the adults holds them. BB wave pool is much more relaxed and has a area to the right of the park that the waves just kind of roll in. Also you can take the 14 month old on the lazy river with you. They do have life jackets you can use.

Go for it, it is a good time for the whole family. Just bring sun screen. (also they let you bring in food and coolers if you like.)

definitely Blizzard Beach - the squirting water at Typhoon Lagoon was a complete turnoff for my 3 year old

At the very top of Tikes Peak there is a small water slide area which is aimed specifically at the teeny tinys, I would say it was perfect for the the under 2s, that is very close to the top of the slightly bigger slides which are good for the under 5s - at 4 my dd just loved that they had 'proper' slides that she could go down.
