Should we get PCR test before cruise if vaccinated?

I'd do an antigen test before flying for peace of mind.

We are getting tested 3 weeks before sailing. This helps for the recovery time frame rule. and most likely we will do PCR for our flight into Canada IF this also coves our port test. Still waiting if DCL will change their testiing policy for Canada

Are you flying? The only thing worse than missing a cruise because of a positive is finding out at the port. At that point you're out travel expenses too. All while within eye shot of the cruise you are about to miss!

I say test anyways.

Are airlines still offering super generous cancellation policies? I figured if you tried to cancel your flight two days before flying, you're probably not getting that money back anyways.

Is it still required where you test at home? Did that recently change? Sorry I thought I read that somewhere.

If not, is the only testing required at port?

I came here searching for a solid answer about the PCR test. because there definitely is/was conflicting information from Disney. Some pages on their site say you need to have proof of vaccination AND a negative PCR test 3 days priors to showing up at port, some pages say you only need to proof of vaccination.
We're just about on that 3 day mark so I'm trying to determine if we need to schedule a test or not. Sounds to me like the PCR test 3 days prior is no longer necessary. Plus, I'm looking through site pages now, and it seems (based on the update dates) that Disney might have gotten around to updating their information.

You only need to do the PCR test 3 days before if you are UNvaccinated...so under the age of 5 years old. If you are vaccinated, you need only upload the proof of your vaccine. EVERYONE is still being tested AT the port.

The PCR test required 3 days before the cruise is for those under the age of 5 due to their unvaccinated status. Everyone else, (must be vaccinated) will be tested at the port with a rapid antigen test.
