Should we expect light crowds 11/4-6?

My family and I just booked our trip for the weekend of November 4-6th. It seems no matter what time of year we go, we're faced with large crowds and lines. I noticed a lot of hotel specials for this weekend and figured it was because it fell between Halloween and Christmas decorations. We've done both of those before and lighter crowds is more important to us. Has anyone gone at this time? What were the crowds and lines like? Hopefully we made the right decision.

If you have to pick a weekend, which are always busy, that is one of the better ones to choose. Also it won't be a total lull without decorations, it will look a bit like Christmas just not with the activities. Just be aware a few attractions will be closed. POTC and IASW and ITTAB.

I will be in DL on November 5th and am also hoping that the 'in-between' time will be a good one for our first visit. I know about the Christmas parade, but am hoping that doesn't make too much of a mess.

The only big problem it causes it a standard parade clog on Mainstreet. All in and out traffic has to be squeezed to the sides of the sidewald as a parade normally does. But because they take a lot of time filming it this can be more pronounced. This doesn't cause larger crowds in other lands.
