Should we do a dessert party on our last night?

I’m thinking of booking the MK garden view dessert party on our last night but not sure if we should. Just want to do something special on our last night.

On our arrival night, we will watch HEA from the Cali Grill. The next night, we have the frozen dessert party and the next night we have MVMCP.

MK is open till 11pm on our last night so we’d like to be there to get the most out of the night.

We’re having dinner at SciFi at 6pm and thought we’d either stop into the contemporary club lounge for desserts at 8pm then head to the mk to see the fireworks or book the dessert party.

Ifbits in your budget do the party. It’s always great to end your trip with HEA, and getting to see it stress free is really great. We do the garden party each trip, and it’s so worth the money to us.

We try to do the dessert party on our last night every trip. This is the perfect way to end a trip.

We did that last year. We did the MVMCP our first night and I added the after fireworks dessert party as a surprise for my husband's birthday on our last MK day. It was really nice and very relaxing since you aren't rushed and as everyone is leaving MK, you can enjoy some snacks. I wouldn't do it every Christmas but it was a nice last day at disney, fun special treat.

If your goal is to be in MK to see the fireworks, I would book the dessert party. Even without dessert, the price alone is worth not having to deal with MK fireworks crowds, IMHO.

You itinerary is already filled with special events, thus I would be less inclined to book another. Have you considered watching the fireworks at Hollywood Studios since you are already there for ScFi?

Going to the HEA garden view dessert party was one of the highlights of the trip for my family. Even my mom loved it. It started to rain right before the fireworks, and thankfully, they gave us all ponchos.

I would allow for at least 90 min for dinner and an hour for transportation to the other park. What time are the fireworks?

The fireworks are at 9pm.

When we order at sci fi, I’ll ask them to bring the check with our food so we can just walk out after we’re done eating. We will uber to the contemporary from hs and would like to be there by 8. If it takes longer, that’s ok...

I’m leaning towards having dessert at the contemporary lounge when we get there and then either watching the fireworks from our room or skipping it and just going on rides til park close at 11pm.

I just hope it’s not too hard to walk into the mk while fireworks are about to start or while they’re happening...

I did think about watching the fireworks at hs but since we’re staying at the contemporary and have to go towards the mk anyway, we might as well leave before the crowds. Hs closes at 9 and mk is open til 11 so we’re hoping to have a little more playtime on our last night.

+1. Our last trip we did three nights of special events in a row, and it ended up feeling like too much.

I booked the HEA After Dessert Party on the day of our arrival and the Frozen Dessert party the the night before we leave. Just wanted to start and end our vacation with a bang!

Do it! Do the After party and avoid the masses leaving the park after the show. It’s a great show and worth it!!!
