should we bring the baby?

take the baby..2 is one of the best ages..and who knows when you'll get a chance to go back while he still believes in all the magic of disney?

I will agree with the rest of the posters. Take the baby.I think you may regret it if you dont.

Take the baby! I think you will miss him not sharing in the family vacation! I have six kids and have always taken all mine, some of them being as young as 9 months. Baby swap is actually pretty easy and you really only need to worry about that on the bigger rides. Take him, you won't regret it! For me, the whole MAGIC of Disney is experiencing it with my small children.

One other idea, maybe your mom who offered to watch him could go along with you guys?

I would bring her - she is part of the family - and I am assuming it is a family vacation - she will get just as much out of it as the older kids & in some ways more. Sure there will be hassles but probably just as many with having 4 year old twins & an older child. If you don't take her, you might regret it & hear from her 'where am I?' in the family pictures in years to come. Good luck!

I would rather not go than leave one of my children behind. It is a family vacation and all should go or none should go. If you don't feel that you and your husband can handle the kids then you should postpone the trip.

Oh my goodness, of course, take him! A 2-1/2 year old is hardly a baby! How would you explain to him that the whole family is going to disney and he can't go? My DS was a little over 2 on his second trip last summer and there was no way that he would have understood that the whole family was going on vacation and he couldn't go. He had a blast and so did we (except for him singing "It's a small world" for the entire drive back to NJ, lol!) I will never forget him interacting with the characters on that trip. He was such a ham!

I think you will regret it if you don't bring him.

My older children cannot are sooooo excited to see our almost 2 1/2 year old's face in January when he sees Ee-Ee (Mickey) and Pooh. He has watched the planning DVD (he's still 22 months) and just goes nuts over the parade previews and lots of the other things. The whole family thinks our trip will be extra magical just by watching the magic happen through Jack's eyes. TAKE THE BABY!!! (Can you imagine when he looks back on family photos of the trip and he is not there?)
