Should we bring our floppy seat for highchairs?

You know those cloth floppy covers that go into high chairs and shopping carts...is it worth bringing with us or will it be more of a pain than it's worth?

One more thing to carry around. I'd say just bring sanitizing wipes if you're worried and just put what you might need for the day in a ziploc.

i would carry it either.

I'd say just bring sanitizing wipes

or, carry a small bottle of anti-bac gel... squirt kids hands first, to wash up for dinner, squirt table and wipe with a buttwipe (can i say "buttwipe" here?).

When DD was 7 months, we brought our "buggey bag" (same concept). We never brought it into the parks, but used it for evening dinners (just threw it in the stroller basket if we were going to be walking around.) Since she had just turned 7 months and was just getting used to the resturant style high chairs (no support), it was very useful (pillow, extra support, etc). This trip she will be 14months and I don't think we will bring it - but if I ever went again with a young baby, I would bring it in a heartbeat.

Just another thought, Target sells disposable covers made out of plastic that cover high chairs for on the go dining--they fold up really small and are made to throw away after one use. They also make disposable floor mats--I bring them sometimes as my son makes such a mess throwing his food on the floor, etc. With the floor mat, I don't feel as bad for the wait staff, we just fold it up and toss it.
