Should we attend the weekly DVC Members' meeting?

Hi-we will be staying at BCV this August and were considering attending the weekly DVC Members' meeting. Is this something I should allocate some time for? We enjoyed the DVC Christmas party last December but I'm assuming the weekly meeting is much different.

Speaking only for myself, I will never waste time again on one of these meetings. I get way more info right here on the DIS. The meetings seem more like promotions to me, and kind of boring, at that. YMMV.

The meetings are more an opportunity to tell you about the latest DVC offerings. But you sometimes get free stuff like hats or lanyards.

I went last summer and then again in March. It was the same thing: a pretend gameshow where they ask you questions about DVC and basically just promote DVC. Some people get pins and everybody gets a baseball hat when you leave. Free pretzels and popcorn. Waste of time. I went the second time thinking maybe I had caught an off time in the summer but no....same thing.
