Should the Tag Fairy be allowed to do this

Dude, with all due respect, you need to lighten up!

It's a tag - nobody went back and went through your medical records or criminal records (not saying you have any) - it's a tag on a DISNEY INTERNET BULLETIN BOARD!!

It's not an invasion or privacy. Admin can change whatever they want whenever they want because they own the place. You do not "own" your profile. Do you see a little lock down on the taskbar of the computer saying it's a secure website? No. Do you have any personal info in there like your ss# or your Visa number - well you could but you would be stupid to stick that in your profile..lol

It didn't harm you, it didn't harm anyone else, and it can be removed with a couple of clicks of the mouse in the User CP.

There are so many more reasons to get upset in this world - priorities VH... priorities.. or you are going to end up with a killer ulcer.

but I personally think the whole "tag fairy" thing is kind of sweet, it's a nice thing someone does to brighten someone's day.

but when it's used to annoy, insult or "bust someone's b..." etc. than I have to agree in a way with the OP.

I mean, this is a Disney "Family" site right? Shouldn't the TF's be more focused on spreading a little joy than on trying to see what they can do to annoy or insult someone who obviously doesn't want a tag?

again, just MY own opinion on this.

I second that. The TF is fun and a nice suprise when you get a tag. Just delete it and leave all alone. Leave the TF alone and he/she will leave you alone.

V, if you honestly didn't/don't want them changed, and had honestly expressed yourself, here on the board, and/or in email or PM to those in charge, your avatar message would have been, and would be, left alone. If you 'playfully' go along with the changes and make an ongoing game out of it with cutesy remarks, it then becomes a self-perpetuating game, encouraged by you, for attention and laughs.

I personally do not want my avatar area message changed; it had been several times. I expressed myself, both in private, as well as here on the board, of my desire to be left alone, and my wishes have been fully honored. It depends how serious and honest you are in your not wanting what you are 'saying' you 'are not wanting'.

As for others being the recipient of the messages, if they want them or have no opinion one way or the other, I think they are great and wonderful for all the smiles and fun they add to the board and bring to those who get them. And I have expressed that to certain people over the time here. They are great. They make people happy and smile. For me, I prefer left alone, wishes honered. But I did not make a game out of it. Make a game, look for attention, you get it.
