Should Spaceship Earth stay or go?

The only thing that's I would EVER change is to update the technology a bit in the "now" section, so it seems a little more realistic. That's it.

first of all, spaceship earth was never designed to be a fast-thrilling ride. It was designed to be a relaxing A/C'ed ride through the different ages of communication. I love riding it during those really really hot days

for all u non-spaceship earth luvrs, u will probally get rlly mad at this but I DON'T CARE!!!!! spaceship earth is epcot's symbol and if it goes, MANY ppl will be disappointed. it would probally be a cool rollercoaster but if u want roller coasters, go somewhere else! wdw is a FAMILY park and if you changed a BIG attraction to families, then the whole family might not enjoy it. yeah a family with teenagers is ok but wut about families with younger children who can't enjoy rollercoasters yet? so wut if it makes you fall asleep? so wut if "older kids" don't enjoy it. SO WUT?!? get over the fact that wdw is a FAMILY park and yeah the rides may be a little corny, but think about somebody other than yourself!!!!! if u want thrill rides, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

U r so right! Disney World is a family park and it needs to have rides that the whole family can enjoy.It's been one of my favorite rides since I was 3 and it's also an artistic masterpice .It is funner than the history channel but it's still educational .And to all of you who think it's too boring, think about a long, air-conditioned nap after a long, hot day in Epcot . I bet you'd love it .

Yeah. That ride has been there ever since Epcot was opened. I don't mind it the way it has been all these years, but I won't object if they turn it into a coaster. I wonder how they would do it.

I think it should stay the same as well. Like others have said it's a classic ride and yeah it's a tad dull but still a great ride. Also like someone else said it's great for a hot day since it's slow and air-conditioned. Another thing I personally like about it is that it is narrated by Jeremy Irons a.k.a Scar

Its only dull if you dont look at the underlying message. It's talking about how important comunication is! It really made me think about the progress the human species has made. Thats what epcot is all about, having fun but also learning. If they got rid of spaceship earth it would be a tragdy! (ps. puplove 9, the history channel is cool! )

At first, I voted I would like both, but then I got to thinking. This is a Disney classic. I don't think it should be changed, other than to update it a bit. Sure it's a bit boring, but it's air conditioned, and it is informational. It's not like it's a pointless, new ride that everyone is bemoaning. If it were, than by all means change it. But it's a CLASSIC, for goodness's sake, and I don't think any of those should be changed, no matter how boring some people find them (Yes, I am one of the ones who is bored by it, but a bit of A/C in the middle of a hot day feels wonderful!).

I think it should stay the same, because Disney is messing up all the classics. I know it is not the most thrilling ride but not everything at Disney has to be a thrill ride, it is a family park.
