My daughter has an important doctor appointment with a specialist. It's actually her first appointment with him....she was just diagnosed with something, and when her pediatrician wanted her to see a specialist, I called to make the appointment and the wait was 3 months long. Depending on her X-ray results, that would be the only way to get her in sooner. Evidentially, they thought she needed to be seen sooner (after seeing the results) because they then got her an appointment in two weeks. Now I find out that my daughter is suppose to take the AIMS tests that week! So... I don't know if I should cancel the appointment and risk waiting 3 more months for an appointment, or have her miss the test, or see if she can do the test another time. The appointment is not a matter of life and death, however, if my daughter ends up needing surgery, I would like her to get it in the summer, if possible, so she doesn't miss school while recovering. Therefore, I would prefer that she keep this appointment coming up.
Any advise appreciated! Thanks
