Well I've been looking for ages, well ever since June:rotfl: :rotfl: , at returning to WDW at the end of Jan for the 1st 2 weeks of Feb, well now the flight prices are Fab :cool1: I've got cold feet :scared: Sholud I  , oh I know I should BUT.........Have any of you been at this time of year, what should I expect as in crowd levels and temp?. Thanks

It's a crap-shoot. One year I went the first week in January and the temps were 75 during the day ... sunny and dry. Another year we were there the last week of Feb & first week of March .... cold and rainy; however, it was "unseasonably" cool.

I'd say plan your trip, check the weather report before going and pack clothes for both extremes.

January is a tough month for weather, it can beautiful or it can be cold & rainy. Crowds however are lower. Febuary can be the same as Jan for weather, however if you are there around Presidents Day you may see a huge
influx in crowds as local schools do feild trips to Hall of Presidents at MK.

Make the plans, watch the weather, pack accordingly. Up side, Hubby and I had a rainy Jan trip. But, becuase of that we were able to ride ToT 13 consecutive times (Our All time Fav Ride). But you get the idea.

To be honest, after the summer we've just had here the weather doesn't worry me too much :lmao: :lmao: , Have been previously when the parks have been quite busy and this year I had been unwell running up to and during our Holiday's with a virus that caused problems with my heart  , so my DH decided that we needed another trip . I think we may be booking this afternoon

Hi, dh & i escaped the kids and went to florida in early feb, the crowd levels were low, except for EE although we only went to the AK one afternoon to ride that together. At MGM (or should i say DHS!) ToT was a walk on :cool1:
The weather however was cold and rainy - not that it bothered us we had a fab time. Early feb is good at universal as it is the start of Mardi Gras which was great:cool1: loved the voodoo juice:cool1:

Saying that the weather was good a few days later

We've been a few times in Jan/Feb and as the others have said the weather can go either way. Personally im not to bothered when it's a little chilly as I hate the heat anyway.

This year in Jan we were there the first 2 weeks and had a bit of cold weather but the majority was quite warm, luckily I packed some shorts and it was a good job too, I even got sun burn  You just have to pack for both.
It's a great time of year though the parks are pretty quite.

Do it and enjoy. On cooler days the parks will be fairly light with plenty of opportunity to do multiple popular rides. Take a fleece as insurance and it will scare the cold weather away.
