Should I take a stroller or rent one?

Here I was all set to just rent a stroller daily in the parks for DS 4 1/2 and then after a day at the mall he wanted me to hold him all the way back to the car and I thought hey I might want to keep the stroller to use all the way back to the hotel. Is it too much of a hassle getting it on and off the buses and Monorail or is it worth it? Money isn't the issue, its the convience. We are staying at Contemporary so I know that we will be using the monorail whenever possible.

Our experience with our children and more recently with our grandchildren convinced us that bringing your own stroller is the better way to go. That way you have it available whenever it might be needed and not just in the parks. It was very useful in the airport (you can keep it with you right up until boarding, then "gate check" it, and get it back as soon as you deplane at the other end. It's also handy to have at the resort and other non-park areas of WDW. Also, our children were more comfortable in their own stroller which was also much more adjustable than the rentals.
Hope this helps.

P.S. You do have to fold the stroller to get on WDW buses, but you can roll it right onto the monorail.

I always bring ours. We use it to carry the carry on's at the airport then gate check it.

Your room at the CR will be large, so you'll have plenty of room for your stroller if you don't want to fold it.

I much prefer using ours than renting one. It's much easier.
