Thank you all for your replies. I think what he means is that we can't go to WDW every year or even every other year, so he wants to make sure that she is old enough to remember it. I have been telling him what all of you have said about how your children talk about it years after they first go. I also think he is beginning to realize that I want to go also, because I want to see it. Today he asked me how much it cost to go.![]()
Then the big risk you run is that your dd will be like mine - constantly asking when she can go back!
It's been slightly over a year since we went (dd was 3.75) and she still asks about once a week or so when we can go back, either directly or indirectly (having her dolls pretend to go there on vacation, for instance). But, yeah, it was definitely magical for her in a way that it wasn't for then 6.5 y/o ds, even if she was terrified of meeting any character besides Cinderella. (But, hey, that saved us a lot of time not spent waiting in lines to meet characters, lol.)
