Should I stay or move

We rather last minute added on to our vaction club at Animal Kingdom, so we are looking at a last minute trip in March over the kids' spring break - 3/17-3/22. I called last night and the only availability was at Sartoga Springs. Of course we wanted AK, but SSR was at the bottom of our list.

So now I'm wondering, should we keep calling and try to move to AK/BCV/VWL or just plan for SSR.

Opinions?

I'd make the reservation for SSR and go on the waitlist for AKV if you absolutely are going in March.

I think during spring break you were lucky to get anything. You can waitlist, but you'll likely be at SSR. I would not "keep calliing" that is what the waitlist is for.

Thanks, I would have to keep calling. The are developer points and I can't waitlist with them.

FWIW we stayed at SSR last spring break and had a wonderful time. It was our first stay there and we thought we'd really miss our BWV. With the parks and everything Disney being so busy during that time it was great to return to the peace and quiet that we found at SSR. We were in Congress Park and the walk to DTD was only about 10 minutes. It was wonderful. Hope you get what you want and have a great time!

I would stay at SSR.....

AKV is supposed to start construction 24 hrs a day in
the spring.....could be noisy.

Why don't you just stay at SSR and give it a chance to grow on you? You may be surprised and really like the relaxing and community feel!

I would start with SSR and waitlist AKV. While SSR would not be my first choice, neither was OKW and that was all that was available for our last trip. We absilutely loved it! As a previous poster said,SSR is a nice retreat from all the busy parks. We discoverdd that at OKW as well. I think that AKV is also one of those getaway type of resorts, as well.

Give SSR a try. It is DVC and it is Disney and lots of people love it. Have fun planning! Get that countdown going.

Just go with SSR. Anything at Disney is fantastic and allow yourself to experience something different! You may love it!
