Should I split into two contracts?

We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 7,4, and 9 months.

Realistically, we’d like to take one Disney vacation a year for a week and want enough points to stay in a 2 bedroom as the kids get older. So we are thinking about 300 points. I don’t think we’d have enough to stay at any resort with 5 of us booking 11 months in advance with 150 points if split between two different resorts.

Is it still better to get two contracts for the same resort? Right now we are heavily leaning towards AK as our home resort for some peace and seclusion at the end of the day (and because I think it’s just such a unique resort!)

Thank you we are just starting our research and very excited!

Rec: 6 contracts with same use year, 50 points each, for total of 300 points. If or when it comes time to sell, you won't regret it. Alternatively, you should consider purchasing resale...but that is a different consideration and luxury of small contracts all in same UY may not be an option.

I would split into at least 3 contacts since you have 3 kids. Of course Same use year on all three.
