K...I guess if I'm gonna open up and join the gang as more than a lurker, I might as well go all the way!! So the "comfort zone" goes out the window...
The question is, am I really crazy, or just a die-hard Disney Freak???
DH has been unemployed for well over a year now, and so finances are tight and a trip to my "happy place" is out of the question for a while. So, I 've been dreaming...lots of people dream about what they would do if they won the lottery, but I've been doing it in sort of a strange way.
My extended family doesn't really get my Disney Obsession, or why we keep wanting to go back, so I dream of sharing my passion with them. All 42 of them. At the Poly. With special events and gatherings planned. Even how we would tell them about the trip.
I love to plan our trips, so I am planning this one...even though the realistic side of me knows it will likely never happen. It is such fun to imagine their reactions, and how it would feel to share the place I love with the people I love. It is a great escape for me, and a way to have a tiny bit of magic when real life is not very magical. One day I will get to plan a real trip again, but for now this gives me joy, and even my DH and kids join in on the "wow, could we....?".
So now that you've read my confessional dissertation, give it to me straight...do I need a straight jacket??
