Should I re-book???

I really need some help deciding what to do about my resort reservation -- maybe some of you veterans out there can help me decide.

I booked my room at the WL for Jan. through DC back in early August. When the DC discount rates came out, I had them applied. However, I know that if a code comes out for that time period, it will most likely be cheaper. Now, here's my dilemma, I am scheduled to pay the remainder of my reservation balance by Nov. 17. Codes for December are running until Nov. 25 according to Mousesavers, so if Jan. codes don't come out until after that, I'm outta luck! Should I cancel and re-book before my payment due date so I'll have more time to wait for a code? Whaddaya think??? (So far all I've paid on it is the $200 downpayment.)

you could always make a new ressie if the code comes out for the better discount and have them transfer the monies paid already to the new ressie.

I'm sorry I don't know what you should do, I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I am waiting for the codes to come out to see what the price will be for the VWL. I could get an AP and get a great rate, but if the room codes are almost as good, why spend the money for the AP? We usually make 4 and 5 day tickets last a few years, so I can not justify the AP purchase. If I did buy the AP, I'd have to get a real job just to pay for the long weekends I'd have to make to Florida to use the AP. LOL (someone please tell me why that is a bad thing )

Thanks for the responses guys. Still don't know what to do. I was told that if I make changes to my res. after Nov. 17 (final payment) then it would cost me $50 or more. Don't know if adding a code would be considered a "change". Guess I'll wait a while longer and then I'll HAVE to make a decision, won't I?
