We are scheduled to visit march 15 to the 22nd so im not sure if it is too late to do so. Is it the same price in advance as it is in the park. and what exactly does this mean. thanks in advance.

I have used Photo pass the last 2 times i have been down we have been fairly satisfied with the pictures but i would not want all of them and i certainly would not spend the $150.00 price tag on them (i think thats what it is). The photo pass people and the people that walk around with the characters have no problem taking pictures for you with your camera and its free. What we have used it for is our christmas card the past two times. their cameras usually take a little better pictures then ours and it gives us a really good resault. Also we have never really had enough pictures taken with photo pass to make it worth getting all off them. you may be a little different then us but as far as a cost stand point it is very expensive.

And for a more direct answer you can purchase all of the pictures that are taken by the photo pass people prior to you arrival. So if you get 10 pictures taken you have wasted your money if you get 100 its a great deal its all how much you use it. And you dont accually pay anyting for photo pass cards they are free. You just have to pay for the prints which you can access at home from the internet.

I have never purchased a photo pass in advance. They are readily available from any CM with their photo gear and they are ready to take your photo at all the Kodak photo stops. They have no problem in taking pictures with your camera and you can do both. Give them a photo pass to accummulate your photos and than hand them your camera to take the same shot. You can review your photos once you're home and buy them on line unless you really love one of them and they're offering you a deal before you leave the park which is what happened to us with pictures taken during the Halloween Not so Scary Party. When you add the details to the pictures they take, (borders, signatures, etc.) they can make a good memory of the day.

Wish I had purchased mine in October. I spent more on the pictures when I got home than prepaying for the photo pass.

I always prepurchase the pictures on CD-ROM, and there's usually a pretty nice discount to do so. (I just google for coupon codes and links.) Another perk of doing it this way is that I can tell the photographers to go crazy because I know I'm getting ALL of the pictures. There are also some special things that you can get put on the photopasses (like your Test Track pictures and some of the portraits taken at the character meals, I believe).

Last year's trip was the first time we bought the CD at the park, and it was well worth it for us because of the sheer number of pictures and the quality of the images. In particular, the PhotoPass photographer got a great series of our girls at Pixie Hollow. Both girls were wearing sundresses with little kerchiefs on their heads, and Tinkerbell and friends went to town playing peek-a-boo with the girls and their kerchiefs. We didn't have a single one of those on our own camera because it happened so fast, but the CD gave us every last one. And then some - we had almost 150 pictures in total.

This year, we asked our TA to do some research, and she got us a promotion code for the CD. It's not a pre-purchase option, but we can order the CD when we get home through the PhotoPass site for $99. I'm guessing we'll take even more advantage of the PhotoPass photographers knowing that we're almost certainly buying the CD when we get home!

I heard a great tip here, too - bring a permanent marker so you can identify your PhotoPass card. If, heaven forbid, you drop it, at least there's a chance someone who finds it can get it back to you...

My husband always takes a picture of the numbers on our cards with his camera-phone, then emails it to himself, so we have the numbers in one place. :thumbsup2
