Can someone please give me advice on what do to? I have calculated it out and in order to upgrade from the free quick service dining offered at Value resort to regular dining, it would cost about $58 per day more OR I could just stay at a moderate resort and get the disney dining plan for free for approximately $78 dollars more per day. Is a moderate that much better than Pop Century?? We stayed at Carribean Beach Resort before and I wasn't that impressed, but we didn't use the pool then. Please someone advise me what I should do.....

Thanks!

I have had the same issue but I really feel like the MOD is better and you don't have to worry about upgrading. We stayed at a MOD for the first time last year and now I am spoiled and don't want to do the value... :)

Which mod did you stay at?

The $20 per night difference is definitely worth it, if only for the queen beds (provided you don't stay at CBR).

I was torn between this, but the value with upgraded dining was $600 less to stay at ASMo vs staying at CSR with free dining. We ultimately chose to stay Value with upgraded dining, but we have 2 rooms.

For the extra $20/day, yes, I would upgrade to the Mod. Queen-sized beds (except CBR), prettier surroundings, better rooms. Yes, I'd upgrade. CSR is our favorite.

Just to make sure that you are looking at all the costs (we are trying to decide the same thing as well)...

Make sure you factor in tips for the regular dining plan. It might not seem like much, but it could hit another 150, quite easily, depending on your tipping habits and the TS that you chose.

Twenty a night here, another 10 or so in tips, it can add up pretty quickly.

if you want to upgrade to table service I would definitely pay the extra $20 a day to stay at POFQ or POR. Good luck!

I would upgrade. Bigger beds, rooms, and the mealplan you want. Totally worth it.

For that little of a difference, I also vote to upgrade to a moderate. The rooms are bigger, they have queen beds (except CBR as has been mentioned), double sinks in bath area, and the main pool has a slide.

I decided to book at POFQ instead of pop ( where I had planned to book) for this reason. I think it was like 170 difference for the week.
