Should I pay or use DDP 2TS for Spirit of Aloha?

This was actually already asked under another forum but the responses were not so clear. So what do you all think? We are two adults and 4 kids two kids though are 10 and 12 the other two are 4 and 7. If I pay for the two older as adults (which I believe is the case) The show should cost us about $250. Should I just pay for it myslef? or use my DDP? I am not so good at math but really want to get good use out of this plan. Break it down for me folks, what would you do?

Almost any TS will cost at least half the cost of the Spirit of Aloha. PAY OUT OF POCKET unless you don't need the TS credits.

The specific exceptions:

1) Some of your other TS meals will be breakfasts
2) You plan on sharing some of your other meals to free up credits
3) You plan on eating some of your meals off site
4) You plan to have extra CS meals.

If it were me, I wouldn't even use any TS credits there, nor any cash. We thought it was pretty bad.

I agree. The food was terrible and the show lame. It was embarrassing to sit through! Save the money and the credits!

This is how I decided. I have an excel spreadsheet someone on this board gave out last year that plans out your dining credits for TS & CS. When I did the math I was paying OOP closer to what Spirit would have cost me so I plugged in some extra CS meals for those Table sevice meal that I would have paid OOP for and then it made sense to use credits. We had six CS meals left over to cover that extra TS we were missing. What you really need is a planner or the dining plan just xx number credits this day for CS xx this day for TS and add up the totals. Only you know how your family eats 2 or 3 meals when touring and sharing etc. if you look at what you are paying OOP and it is more or close to SOA I say pay OOP for SOA and use TS credits elsewhere if like me you have CS credits to use for a full day to make up for the lake of TS one day then use credits. also remember that if you use the dining plan you can not set in tier one.
