Should I not be in the system by now?

We closed on our resale contract on May 30th. I just called Member Services this morning and we are still not in their system. Is this normal? Jaki from ********** said it should only take 7-10 days. Is their anyone else I can call to check the status?
 
Usually 7 to 10 days means 7 to 10 "working" days - which means weekdays. By that standard you are on Day 8. So you are probably right on track. I know it's really tough to be patient when you are so close, but hang in there.

it seems many new owners experiences are typically around 7 day mark.
This was our experience on our resale contract.

If you closed on May 30 and counting just traditional business days (M-Fri) today would be day 8 (9 if you count May 30). It can't hurt to give a call later on today and inquire again. IMHO I would be surprised if your next call doesn't find you in the system. Perhaps it is just an extremely busy time at DVC & that has delayed things a bit. I understand how you are feeling because even though you've closed it's that "your in the system" that makes all of us who've purchased a resale contract truly feel it is actually a done deal.

I wish I could be more helpful with a suggestion but I don't know who else over at DVC to contact about this aside from MS. I will take a look in the planner & if I come across something helpful I'll post back.

Okay thanks! That was not specified in the beginning, but that makes sense. So hopefully by Friday they will say Welcome Home!!!!!
 

According to an earlier thread in the last day, a MS person who looks after this is apparently ill and away from work - but MS is advising patience as this delay is not going to last long.

With resales through TTS, it took us 9 days (including non-business days) to be in the system.
