Should I move?

I would have asked for that deal but move to the Yacht Club. Nicer rooms, still close to Epcot, plus still be able to go to SAB.

Take the money and run! I think SAB is overrated. Awesome pool, don’t get me wrong, but not a fan of the crowdedness and having to walk across pedestrian walk to get to slide entrance. Poor design.

We have stayed at both. I loved Boardwalk and found the pool easier to swim at and less crowded. We like the splash area for kids and the quiet pool is nice. Plus you are closer to HS!

We were at BC and as soon as we heard about BW opening, we switched right away. I think it’s awesome you are getting $100 a night credit! I would jump on it.

Love both BC and BW - DVC members. We were at BCV in Oct and used SAB twice. Lazy river for the win! We were at BCV for 3 trips and used the pool twice. Tough decision - good luck.

I wouldn't move, but then I absolutely loathe, abhor and otherwise detest BWI. I'd ask them to move me anywhere else. Riviera, Poly or GF would work.

That's how I feel about Beach Club. All of the old baby clothes on the wall creep me out and the whole place stinks like fish.

I have read that there are lines/waits to get into SAB. I don't know if that will/has improved with reduced physical distancing or not. So, I suspect SAB will have more of a wait than BW pool. I would see if you can find out how it's going now.

Is the Beach Club hotel side even open yet? If there’s are waits for SAB now definitely going to waits with a full other hotel using it.

Has there been an outcome?

See if you give them $100 night they’ll move you to a bungalow 🌺 💦 🏰

I didn't think it was, but I'm not sure either. I know that the line was so long that it was encroaching on the space for the Beaches & Cream walk-up window, so they closed the window. They have recently opened up the equivalent of the walk-up window at the old Ample Hills location on the Boardwalk.

Uh oh. You just triggered somebody.

We are moving from BW to the YC for our upcoming trip. We had a reservation glitch at BW, so YC here we come! Ironically, YC was our first choice and we switched to BW. Now switched back again :upsidedow

I received a call from DW asking if I would be willing to move from BC to BW. They said the BC was at capacity so they are trying to move sople. I would get a 100 dollar credit per night. I’m nervous staying at BC with it being so crowded and having to wait for pool time. Going at the end of June! Should I move?

Love to know what you decided to do.

This past April we had two rooms at Coronado booked and we received a call from Disney asking if we would mind being switched to the Grand Floridian. That was a yes.
We were not offered any credits but we were switched from a moderate to a deluxe. We were very happy with the switch needless to say.
We loved the GF, can't wait to go back.

With kids, then probably would not move since they love that pool. Without kids, yes I'd move without hesitation.

Thank for your feedback! I just called today and the offer still stands. I’m still torn! They deal was BW, 100 dollars and same room category. I wasn’t able to negotiate.

What is the price difference in rooms? How does it equate to any promos? Is it really a good deal or is $100 a night closer to the price difference between the resorts?

I’m not a fan of BC because there is no guarantee of a balcony (unlike YC), if i could get a guaranteed balcony form BWI (never stayed there, so don’t know) and didn’t want SAB, I would consider it.

If it was just me and my SO I would move.

With the kids I wouldn’t. BC is DDs absolute favorite. It’s my favorite too but I really like BW too. More adult vibe.
