Excatly! Your guy was spot on with his gift. Apparently, the nightlight wasn't spot on.
But why wasn't it spot on? That is the important question. If he tried and missed the mark, he tried - which is a lot more than can be said for many, even if they spent much more. If he just picked it up randomly then that is another story altogether, but who would pick up a night-light as a random gift for their wife?

I just can't get past the thought that one would have to be pretty dense to give a night-light as a present unless there was more to it than nighttime illumination.
