Should I keep our June ADR at Trail's End?

There are no real compelling reasons to keep or cancel. I guess I'm just interested in opinions of the food and restaurant itself. We've never eaten there and I thought it might be nice to try.

It would save us about $75-$80 (paying OOP with DDE). We're doing Chef Mickey's and Hollywood & Vine on nights immediately prior to this one, and I'm not sure I should do 3 buffets in a row. (Is there an emoticon for "humongous"?)

TIA for your thoughts.

:thumbsup2 We love Trail's End great All-American Fare style buffet. They have the best fried chicken and corn bread. Great deal and excellent food.

Breakfast is very good there also, love their breakfast pizza!

We always make a point to go here at least once every trip! We love it!!! On our honeymoon trip (way back when and before the invention of the Dining Plan), we ate there almost every night!!!

having just read the other posts, i am going to be the voice that says not to go to trail's end! we thought the food was just okay - the tables are small wooden tables and chairs - the eating area was cramped. it is not the easiest place to get to if you aren't staying there --- we would only give it a 4 on a 1-10 scale
typical chicken, pizza soup and salad ...decent food to be sure but not great-

3 buffets in a row could be a little much ... what about kona or whispering canyon - 2 very different choices but then you get to visit the hotels after dinner...

have a great time!

We enjoy it. Do think about how you are going to get there though, and where you are going to go afterwards. We'll be parking at TTC then taking the monorail to MK; hop on a boat to Ft.Wilderness. That way we can then hit MK for the evening. Then again, we might just call a cab...

I have to say don't go--at least if it's lunch. We went for a late lunch and the food was old, sitting out too long. There were almost no other diners, so the food wasn't fresh. It was cheap and limitless, but I won't be back.
