Should I keep my Hollywood N Vine breakfast ADR?

I have ADRs for breakfast at H & V to see JoJo's Circus. But I'm wondering how the food is. After reading through some past reviews it's not sounding too good. My kids are not totally nuts about JoJo. I think they'd probably be just fine with getting to meet them at the parks. But if the food is decent we'll just leave the ADR alone and do it.

Can I hear some breakfast reviews for H & V?

We just went to the new Hollywood & Vine Character Breakfast this past Sunday, and I thought it was fantastic. I've done CRT and the breakfast menu pales in comparison to H&V, even though CRT is also one of my favorites. Now H&V isn't Cinderella's castle, but ambiance only goes so far. Plus, I had the DDE card, so the 20% savings was truly great.

We had 8AM reservations and the park didn't open until 9AM. It was neat to get into the park and see it without anyone else in it besides CMs. I thought it was a lot of fun. We had 5 adults, two 4 year olds and a 9 year old. Now the 9 year old couldn't have cared less about the characters, but he loved the spread. The food was really quite good and since we were among the first ones there, everything was hot and fresh and super good.

They had Mickey Waffles, sausage, bacon, canadian bacon, sausage gravy, biscuits, frittatas, potato casserole, bagels, danishes, croissants, fresh fruit, yogurts, oatmeal, yummy grits; basically anything you can think of on a breakfast buffet except for made-to-order omelets. There was even a little tiny kids buffet that they could reach and do their own plates if you wanted. All kinds of juices, coffee and even sodas.

My 4 yo DD loved it. All of it. Loved June and Leo, but missed rocket and didn't understand why Rocket, Annie and Quincy would be on a "mission" without June and Leo. :rotfl2: She barely ate anything because she was dancing the whole time. But it was priceless because I know she was having a blast. Due to the few numbers of people there, she hung by JoJo almost the entire time and the Character handlers didn't mind at all. They loved it and appreciated her bubbly, non stop jumping up and down enthusiasm ;)

Now my 4 yo nephew didn't really care for the Einsteins, but got all giddy when Goliath came in; he literally pushed his 64 yo Grandmother out of the way because he couldn't get to Goliath fast enough.

I'd say if you have little ones, ages 5 and under, then the characters are great; if not then the characters might be too preschooly for older ones. The breakfast menu is awesome.

Good luck with your decision!

Well that changes my mind. Thanks! I think we'll keep H & V. I have an 8 yo, 6 yo & 4 yo. So 2 kids that will really enjoy JoJo. It's my 6 yo who is really wanting to see those characters. Thanks for the review.

You may be reading reviews about the H&V dinner. The breakfast is brand new so there probably aren't many reviews yet.

We had the dinner buffet and really enjoyed it.

I posted a review on it....just do a search. We loved it! I would recommend it to everyone who has little ones who like JoJos Circus & the Little Einsteins! :thumbsup2
