Hi, I called last week for ADRs (on my 90 day mark 7 am) and I did get all my restraunt picks but for completly different days/times then I wanted. For example: we were going to do MK our first full day there but they didnt have a CRT breakfast available so now we have to do MK our last day there (huge bummer for us) should I keep calling back to see if they have an opening for the original day I wanted? What r the chances some1 will cancel and if they do when would it be? Should I continue to call everyday to check if there is an opening for the day i wanted or should I wait until closer to our trip? Thanks

I would call everyday, maybe a couple times a day, especially when you get closer to your dates. You never know when someone will cancel.

we only wanted breakfast. We did book CRT for the last day of our trip, so at least I know we definitly have it, but we did want it for our first day originally.

I'm just frustrated cuz I had to switch all my plans around eating. We r going on the second day of free dining so I feel as if that was a huge disadvantage from the start cuz every1 who is going on the first day of free dining called a day b4 and took the adrs I wanted. I also wanted a 5 pmish dinner at chef mickeys and had to settle for a 8pm dinner. Last year I called to make my adrs a month or so b4 our arrival date and had to settle with an 8pm chef mickey diner, I just figured since I called on my 90th day this year, I would have 1st pick of everything. yeah well, theres nothing I can do:confused3

I would keep calling! Things change, people change their minds (I do it several times after making my ADR) so I would call and try as much as you can!!

Keep calling if it's really important to you. Especially around the 45 day mark (last chance to cancel package without a penalty.) I would even start calling at the 45+10 window to be safe.

Good luck!

I agree with all the others...keep calling, especially after the 45 day mark. People change their plans all the time, and if you're persistent you may get what you want. It worked for us last year, but I was relentless and called everyday (and I mean everyday) before our trip and finally got what I wanted about 3 weeks before our vacation.

You have nothing to loose (except a little time and $ for long distance ;)), but it sounds like you were disappointed by what was available, so I'd keep trying. If all else fails, you still have your current ADR's.

Good luck! :)

Yep, Keep Calling. I Got CRT after calling every day for 2 weeks (this was about 6 weeks before our trip). Persistence pays off. Keep your other ADR for now, just in case. Like people said, people do cancel and with the way the economy is and people getting laid off, we may see many more cancellations.

I called at 8 this morning and got only around 80% for what i was looking for. (miss Chef Mickey and SCI-FI:mad:)

My wife call around 9 PM(with several attemp because Disney was too busy) and finally with minor changes of my schedule, got Chef Mickey AND SCI-FI:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

So keep calling back:thumbsup2

Good Luck

I called last night and wanted to book a dinner at Boma on the 23rd and I was told there was nothing available. I also wanted to move a 50s PT res to a different night but couldn't. Later on I called back because I decided that I would just switch 50s PT to a lunch instead and when I asked about Boma on the 23rd there was an opening then. Last year I also called every week to get in to Sci Fi because I couldn't get it at the 180 day mark.
