Should I heed the crowd calendars in January?

I think it's good to look at them and figure out WHY they are recommending one park over another. It's the reason I like easywdw, because he gives an exlaination as to why he recommends what he does. Sometimes the park with EMH are not recommended, but if you're going to take advantage of EMH, then obviosly you're going to want to disregard that information.

But like others have said, having a good touring plan (which doesn't necessarily mean anything planned out minute by minute, I just have a general idea of what I'd like to start with and then move in a logical direction) is more important than anything else.

I've learned a lot from easyWDW as well. Just the way he explains the basic crowd psychology is really good. Plus it seems there's always those given factors like Mondays and Saturdays are busy at MK due to how people start/end their vacations. The cheatsheets in combination with some of the touring plans info is probably what I'll rely on most to make a plan.
