So I just called member services for availability for the week of October 8th thru 12th, and every DVC Resort is booked!! I know it's last minute but I'm really surprised that SSR didn't have anything.

There have been waitlists for this time frame for quite some time now. Hope you have an alternate choice in dates..

I have been booking 1 studio at a time at AKV for the last 4 months for Oct 9! It's the night before our cruise and we have 26 going. So far Im up to 5 and need 1 more.

That's a saturday night so I did not expect it to be so tight. I would have moved to a GV but those are sold out DVC-wide (WDW) also!

I call almost everyday.

I hope you find something or waitlist.

someone started this same thread last week...so in addition this list I wanted to add that it's the big 10.10.10 weekend and tons of weddings...DFTW had to lottery the date off since there were so many brides...thus leading to filled rooms...

You guys are scaring me. We are already booked at SSR that week and was hoping for not too bad of a week. We are used to Christmas crowds...it won't be like that, will it?

Have visited that W/E.. crowds were not a problem..Dining ressies were hard to come by

It's not much better the week after...... We have been on a wait list (2 bedroom) for BCV & BWV since April for the 10/14 - 10/21. Nothing so far! I also have been calling every few days to see if I can do a split stay. Not one night has opened up since April. Looks like we will be staying at SSR. I need to re-arrange my dining reservations. Looks like we will be eating in DTD rather than the Boardwalk.

No, DVC rooms book solid for that time, but CRO rooms are not, and offsite is certainly not.

October has gotten a lot busier in the past fifteen years since we started making October our regular time, but it isn't Christmas.

We have been on the waitlist for the past several months for 10/10 in a studio at BC. We have 10/9 and 10/11 reservered. I'm having little hope that this waitlist will come through. I'm waiting on the AP discounts to come out so I can book a backup room elsewhere just incase.

Just wanted a Studio for 8 days - started with October dates and ended up at SS (but still on waitlist for OKW (our home) My birthday is 10/10- never even thought about 10/10/10.... is that another Golden birthday????
