Should I go?

Here is my situation. My last trip to WDW was in 12/04 with my girls, my mom, and some cousins. It was my Mom's first trip ever. We stayed offsite. My mom loved the parks and I promised her I would bring her back someday.

Now, DH and I are taking the girls to Aruba 4/18 - 4/25 for a week. It is our anniversary and we went there for our honeymoon so we though we'd go back. He went to disney last April with us and really doesn't have an interest to go back real soon  .

My brother in law and sister in law called me the other day for Disney advice. They are going 5/29 - 6/2 with her mom and their two kids. She asked me for help with planning dining and resort stuff. She mentions to me that they'd love us to come with them.

My DH says he can't go as he can't get any more time off work (since we're just coming back from Aruba the month before). He doesn't care if we go without him. I ask my mom and she says she'd love to come with us (she just got laid-off work so could really use a vacation). I have a $200 credit for Jet Blue to use so the entire airfare would be real cheap ($59 each way per person). :cheer2:

Is it ridiculous to go? What should I do? It's only 4 nights and it would be a pretty inexpensive trip. Plus, my twins' birthday is June 1st and we'd be there for that day.

I'm confused!!! Please help me justify the trip (to myself).

GO if the opportunity to go to WDW arises the answer is always go :teeth:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That is like the funniest question I have EVER heard asked!! :rotfl2: SO what you are telling us is that you are not sure about going? :rotfl2: Um....let me think...doing some math.... :teacher: .....hmmm........GO and take me with you silly lady!!!

See, I knew that if I asked here, I was for sure to get the answer I wanted!!! :cool1:

So now that we have taken care of that...where are you staying!?

I have a feeling part of the reason you aren't sure about going is because your husband can't go. I have felt the same way on trips in the past. My husband either couldn't go because he couldn't get time off work or just didn't want to go some place in particular. I have done two of these trips now. One was to VA beach with my parents and the kids and the other was to the Newfoundland National last year. If your husband really doesn't care if you go then it sounds like you'd have a wonderful opportunity to be with your mom and kids. I say Go too! :)

How many people in your family did you have staying at the resort? Were the rooms large or small?

We'll probably be staying at POR. My SIL has 5 people to a room so they'll need the trundle bed. You guys are awesome!!!

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Go for it, I would have fun :flower:

I did it!!! I knew you guys would help convince me that this was an opportunity that I couldn't resist. I do feel bad that DH isn't coming, though. Especially since it's the girls' birthday. He assures me that it's okay.

I can't believe I've done this!!!!!

Good for you - you go girl!!!!! And ds and I will see ya there (May 28-June 5) :Pinkbounc Life is short and if you get a chance for some Mickey time then take it!!!!! Besides, you said hubby wasn't that interested in returning and he does not mind you going - its clearly meant to be! :goodvibes
