Should I go to Busch Gardens?

My family is going to spend a day at Busch Gardens while we are vacationing in April at a nearby beach. I don't ride coasters and I don't tolerate heat very well. Will there be anything for me to do - indoor shows and rides, etc. - to fill an entire day?

At Busch Gardens, there's lots of animal exhibits to observe and be a part of! I recommend feeding the parrots, that's always fun since they land right on your arms and head! If you aren't heat tolerant, I would recommend bringing a hand held fan. If you don't ride roller-coasters, a good way to cool off is to stand in the splash zone for Tidal Wave. Fair warning, you will get soaked!

We were there last weekend. I don't ride rollercoasters and neither does my 14 DD. We really enjoyed our day there. The rest of the family went to ride rollercoasters and we wandered around seeing shows and animals. The BEST thing for both of us was feeding the kangeroos and wallabees! They eat right out of your hands and it was so fun. As for the heat, it was a hot day when we were there but there's shade and large air conditioned eating areas. We ate and cooled off at Desert Grill restaurant which is very large and they also had a dance show which was really good.

I agree...its definately a nice park if you aren't into roller coasters..my kids and I can hang out in Jungala all day...now granted once it gets hotter during the days..the tigers are hiding in the shade too.

but there's plenty to do..however, you will walk alot so good walking shoes...
