We have 2 rooms at all-stars booked but no AP rates available. 2 rooms for 2 nights comes to $380.

For $500.00 i can get one standard room at Boardwalk Inn for 2 nights.

The AP rate seems to be $199...add $25 for extra adult and 11.5% tax it comes to $249 and change.

We are 3 adults and 2 young children.
Have never stayed at boardwalk or an epcot resort. Do you think it is worth an extra $120. to move?

Thanks
Mike

Not sure if this will help much but..... we, a family of 4 with both kids being over 18, spent part of our vacation in two rooms at ASM, and then moved to one room at the Boardwalk Inn.

Each resort has its positive things, but for us, the BI was well worth the extra money. The difference in service is like night and day.

One small example : my daughter forgot a sweater in her room at ASM. We called, and they basically said they were too busy to look for it, that we should take the bus over and ask in person. I mentioned the problem to Boardwalk staff and a very short time later there was a knock at our door and there stood a CM with the lost sweater. I was stunned. And she absolutely refused to take a tip.

Some things to consider....

Young children love All Stars. They really love the large icons and all the colors.

2 rooms at All Stars will give you 2 bathrooms and that really comes in handy.

But you can't beat the location of the Boardwalk. And it's a beautiful deluxe resort.

I don't think there's any right answer, you just have to figure out which will work better for your family. You're going to have a great time, no matter where you decide to stay.

We nevered stayed at the BW, but that whole area is great. I say it's worth the money. It is so relaxing just walking around the boardwalk. We've stayed at YC and Swan, we just love that atmosphere.

I don't know when you are going, but it may be cheaper to rent points from a DVC member. Go uver to the DVC rent/trade board and post.

If you are going on a week end only, it may not be cheaper.

Just a thought. Rich
