Setting a new standard for pointlessness in topics....

I have an appointment for a haircut scheduled for late this coming Monday that was made under the assumption that I'd be getting it cut short.

Now, I'm starting to... chicken out a little. I've been growing my hair out for about two years, and, save for some horrible mishap last summer, it's been growing slowly but surely.

So, do I cop out and get it just trimmed... do I get it cut so it's quasi-long... do I get it cut short so it's of a normal length... or do I get it allllll off?

I had taken two pictures with the digital camera, one from the front and one from the back, but out of the middle of nowhere, the memory card seems to have crapped out. It won't even let me reformat it. Gah. Great.

If someone could resize these so they don't take up so much space, that'd be great...

And here, of course, is the picture where I look like a sunken, angsty *******...

Get it trimmed then let it grow out until you have at least 10 inches to cut off. Then get it cut and donate it to Locks of Love :D

Actually I like men with long hair.:teeth: My absolute FAVORITE was Adrian Paul (from the Highlander)

Wear it long for as long as you can.

:)

Judging by the fact that every male in my family from my father to my uncles to my grandfathers to my great uncles has gone at least partially bald by age forty, that might not be very long... :yo-yo:

:) Just never be a long haired bald guy...you know the sort of haircut I mean? Those hairdos (bald on top, long on the sides) always remind me of evil clowns...

If I remember correctly, I think hair loss comes from your mother's side. So it would follow your mother's father.

I say cut it. Short and "normal" as you put it.

The other thing to do is ask the person doing it. They should know with the shape of your face what would look best on you. If you go to more of a professional place; their opinion might be worth somehting.;)

If your maternal grandfather began balding in his 20's, enjoy your long hair as long as possible, i.e. until you're at the point EsmeraldaX describes:

Bowling ball with a hula skirt. ;)

I say cut it but it doesn't have to be suprt short like a brush cut or nothing like that, just so it is a little more clean cut looking :)

I say cancel the appointment, let it grow a bit longer, then when you have 10 inches get it cut short and donate it like chell suggested. :)

A little bit longer on the beard and you'll look like him:

I can't decide until I know more about you, like how old are you? Are you still in school? Do you work a job - what type of work?

At first glance, though, I say cut it shorter, like chin-length. You have a great face and sometimes all that long hair hides it.

Short! Short! Short!

Short hair is much more manly, just my opinion of course!

It is really up to you, but since you asked for an opinion I say cut it short. Sorry I prefer men with short hair.

I am all for cutting it short. I think it just looks neater and more masculine.
