Should I get an Ent Book from Orange County or San Diego?

We'll be staying at HOJOs to go to DL for 3 days and Soak City for 1 day before heading to Pacific Beach for 5 days. Does it matter which place I get the Entertainment Book from? I need it for HOJOs, but wondered which one has the better discounts for other things. Thanks!

I've never stayed at HoJos but my understanding is that you can use any entertainment book. In other words, you might want to get one for the area where you live so you can use the discounts for places near your home unless you think you will use a lot of discounts while on vacation. There is a lot of HoJo talk on the Disneyland boads. You could ask over there to make sure but I know I've read other posts about this and they said you could use any book.

Thanks! I'll maybe ask over there. I live in Bozeman, MT so I don't even think we have an entertainment book for around here!

If you go to the web site for the entertainment books (just google "entertainment book" to find it) you can look up your area and see if there's a book. If not, you still might want to get a book for somewhere besides OC because I think it's one of the more expensive ones. Oh and I just remembered that some people have bought just the card (no book) on ebay for around $5.
