Should I get a Tattoo?

A tattoo will look awesome at your $40,000.00 wedding :rotfl:

I have one friend with a tattoo and she regrets it. I would never get one. Not even to impress someone I may only know for a brief time, because I'd have to live with it forever. Plus, I'd rather blow the dough on something else...:)

I have always wanted a small tattoo, and I finally got one last year when I was 31. I love my tattoo but I am also glad that I waited because I thought about it for a very long time. It is permanent so I am glad that I didn't make the decision hastily. I went with a couple of girlfriends who also got them.

I also made sure to get it in a place where it won't expand or shrink much so that it won't look bad in 50 years.

I haven't seen a pretty troll yet!! You know, I like someone else's idea. Get a nice tattoo across your face. That'll get you the attention you crave! Yeah baby! :teeth:

Maybe she should just get her head shaved and have that tattooed. :rotfl: :rotfl:

ALL my friends are getting tattoos. It is really big here in California. When one of my friends got a large tattoo on her stomach she got so much attention. Everyone wanted to see her new tattoo. I was a bit jealous that my friend was getting all the attention. Maybe if I get a Tattoo I will be more popular and will have more friends.

Beauty comes from within. You'll realize this as you mature. Hopefully it won't be before you do something you regret later.

Age does not always equal maturity.

Maybe you should get a tattoo of yourself with a really short haircut

Well I am going to be in the minotiry I guess.

I love my Tats AND Piercings!!!!!

They are all visable, and I work in an office setting (finance dept) where they are all open minded and accept me for the job I do not the way I look.

Now to get 1 because they are cool...NO!!!! get a picture you would like to have tatted and then hang it somewhere you will see it all the time. If after 6-12 months you can still look at it and say you like it then go ahead and get it done.

Make sure you get it done from a good, clean, reputable place. When it comes to Tats YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. The more they charge it is probably because they are using the best equipment and ink. The inks nowadays do not fade or run like the old stuff. My dad has 2 tats from over 10 years ago and they look like they could have been done last month.

I will not lie they do hurt, but it is a different kind of pain. You will actually more than likely become addicted and want more so make sure to start small and go from there.

Hope my side helps also.

Come on everybody....be nice. She's just young and pretty and doesn't know anything yet :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Please don't chase her away, I haven't enjoyed posts so much since DWhittles..... :rotfl: :rotfl: ;)

Cantw8, I was going to say that she should definitely get a tattoo and also dye her hair blue. That was the color, right? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Maybe she could include some tattoos on her wedding registry (to help save some money for the wedding).

Yes, I think you should get several. The first should be a large "L" in the middle of your forehead. :smooth:

You all are too much! Thanks for the laughs!! :rotfl:

I will tell you what I told my stepkids. A tattoo is a commitment. It is not to be taken lightly. Find a design that you think you really want and then think about it for 2 years. If after those 2 years you still want this design on your body...go for it. Oh and while you are waiting for those 2 years to pass, think about if you really want this design on your body when you're 80.

By the way I have 3 tattoos and I'm working through my 2 years for my 4th.
