We're driving down to WDW and are staying at Pop Century. Last year we got a fridge at ASM's and used it but not sure it was worth the money this time since we have the dining plan. I was thinking this year just using a cooler. Will that keep our water cool enough if I freeze it all before we leave and add ice everyday???

We bought a cooler at Walmarts. We flew but had a rental. They had a nice big one there with wheels for $18. Had no problems keeping things cool. Refilled it at night with ice.

We have always used a cooler. We have taken collapsible ones that can fit in our luggage. They need filled more often, but work fine. This year we are just going to purchase a styrofoam one at the grocery, and toss it when we leave.

One thing is that I always take a large rubbermaid container, to put stuff that can get water-logged.

$10/ night is crazy. You can buy those fridges for around $60. Too bad I can't take it on the plane.

A cooler is just fine. When we stayed at Pop in November (we had 2 rooms, we converted one sink into a cooler. We emptied the water each morning and refilled and everything stayed cold.

We've usually just done a cooler, refilling it every day with ice. The only thing I ever worry about is the milk, so we'd just go buy a small one to use everyday from the gift shop.
$10/ night is too much to rent one!
