I need some advice here. I'm going to be staying at CBR in May. I will not arrive until 7 or 8 p. m. on Sat. night. The last time I stayed there we arrived at 10:00 am and they already had a room ready and we were thrilled. Then we found out the Trinidad South is longer than a 5 minute walk to OPR. I was hoping to get a room closer to OPR so we can get to the food court and pool without hiking there. ;)

Should I fax the room controler or not? I did ask the CM who booked the ressie for me to note that I would like a non-smoking room near OPR. Then he got nasty with me. I realize that all they can do is note a request, nad not quarantee it.

Any ideas?

I would call back and make sure it was put on your reservations, and yes, I don't think it would be a bad idea to fax the room controller.. Then when you check in, also make sure they see the note... It never hurts to ask!!

Ditto on the above...I would call back (hopefully you'll get someone a little friendlier) and make sure it's noted on your reservations. I always call to note my requests. If you want to be especially sure, you could fax too, but I've found that calling works just as well. Sometimes they'll even repeat my exact requets when I check-in (I don't request a lot of things, usually just upper floor and early check-in).
