Should I expect my Animal Kingdom hours to change or no?

My trip will be the first week of December and currently it's listed to be closing at 8pm each night. September Animal Kingdom hours has it closing at 9pm usually. Since it's going to get dark much earlier in December, should I pretty much expect the 8pm closing time to stick? Or should I still be looking out for any changes?

In my experience 8PM seems like the standard closing time for early December. I wouldn't expect the hours to be extended, but as with anything Disney related, once you are use to things being one way, they change them.

Hours do often change the closer you get to going so check them every couple of weeks. We have seen them change 2 days before we arrived one year. Maybe with all the new things at AK, the hours could be extended.

Actually, the 8pm clsoure is a shift from what had been 7pm a month or so ago.

I concur. Going late nov and was thrilled about the 7 to 8 change.
