Should I even worry about a walker (9mo old)?

My DS will be 9mo old when we leave, he STAYS in his walker. I think he likes the freedom of walking wherever he wants to. If we were driving, I would definitely bring it. But, we are flying. Walkers aren't exactly portable (it folds down, but not very compact - if you know what I mean). I could probably pack it, but it would take up ALOT of room. He is crawling now, and I figure we probabyl won't be in our room that much anyway. Has anyone ever had to make this decision? What should I do???????

Thanks,

I wouldn't bring it. You'd never be in the room that much to make it necessary.

I wouldn't bring it either. You're on vacation...you'll have the time to hold his hands and walk. It's a convenience that you may need while you're at home getting things done, but you'll wish you had just left there!

I also would not bring it, however you could always rent one. abbf.com I think had walkers..or maybe an exersaucer or something similiar? Something that he could just be in for a bit while getting ready in the morning?

Don't bring it. We brought one last summer for my 8 month old grandson and we never used it. We ended up putting it in the trash before we left because we had too much stuff.
