Should I even dream of waitlist

coming through for our June trip? This is the first time we've decided to go without planning years (okay, it just seemed like years) in advance so when I called and couldn't get into our "home", VWL, we booked OKW. MS offered to put us on the waitlist for VWL, but never having done this before, I am clueless as to whether or not this is a possibility.

May I please ask for your expert help?

This far out it is definintely a possibility. But if it doesn't come through, have you ever stayed at OKW before? I think you'll enjoy it.

Thanks, Chuck S. Yup, we've stayed at OKW before and, hey, it's Disney...as long as we're on the grounds, we're happy! We did enjoy OKW and our rented stays there are what prompted us to become DVC'ers.

I don't know if it's normal but we have fallen in love with VWL and haven't planned any stays anywhere else.

Is being on the waitlist supposed to show up at the DVC website in our vacation details? I know if it comes through we're to get a revised confirmation.

Every waitlist I've made has come through - including VWL for NYD, and a BWView for STWW/June. I think you'll have good luck.

I am sure your waitlist will come through for you! I waitlisted for VWL for next week a few months ago after I fell in love with WL during our stay there this past August. Mine came through right away! I actually found out online first. I did not receive my paper confirmation until a few weeks later, so keep checking online. Good luck!

It's already happened...the waitlist came through and we're staying at our beloved VWL. (OKW would have been great, too! No offense, Chuck S)
