We are going to Disney Thanksgiving week. My preliminary itinerary has us at MGM on the Monday before Thanksgiving. Seeing Fanstamic is on the top of my list for things to do that day, but I REALLY don't want to spend 2+ hours waiting in line.
In 2004 we did the FDP at H&V. H&V was OK, nothing to write home about, but the ability to show up 1/2 hour before the show was great!
This year I want to do MM, but at a set price of $28.99 for the 5 of us it's a little steep. Especially since my 11yos would rather eat off the kids menu, and we are not doing the DDP.
So exactly how bad are the lines for Fantasmic right before a holiday? Should I take my chances and just book ADRs, or book the FDP and not worry about the cost?
