Should I do TGM

I have read about Tour Guide Mike and now I am considering using him. I have read positive reviews, but are there people that used him and it didn't work? I just don't understand how he can plan ahead for everyone. I am going during the free dining period and I would love to avoid crowds. I was hoping to get reviews of TGM, the pos. and the neg.. I read that he tells you which ride to hit when. Is it hard to follow? Does it take away any on the fun? Thanks!

TGM is great! I just joined him for a second time. We used him last year and our itinerary worked perfectly. I have been to Disney quite a few times and never used a plan....I now will never go without one. He is well worth the money to join and I believe he does offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

He does not really make plans for everyone though. He gives tips and advice and has sample touring plans...you have to decide what works for you. It will take some time and effort on your part to really benefit from TGM. It's kinda like a research project. The great thing about his advice is it is constantly updated.

That said, TGM is not for everyone. If you are someone that doesn't enjoy sitting at a computer going through information and spending time reading articles. You are likely going to not like TGM or are not going to use it to your full potential. My SIL joined TGM for her first trip last year and it didn't work for her because she did not devote the time to actually going through all his info and using his tips. It's not magic....it does take some work on your part but when you do put forth the effort you can make it work like magic.

Oh, and no it did not take away from any of the fun, it only added to it!

I've used TGM twice. The first time I was not really thrilled because I found the site itself difficult to navigate. Even so, I got a few tips off of it that saved us time and headahces, so I signed up again for our last trip. That time I did devote more time to it. I printed out the touring suggestions and took them with us. It worked like a charm! We encountered no wait times and really appreciated his suggestions. If you have the time to devote to it, I would definitely recommend TGM. I'll be signing up again for our next trip.

I want to thank everyone about there opinions on TGM. I was getting on the site to ask the very same question and there is no doubt that I am getting it now. We have our next trip planned for July 9-15 with my inlaws so I need some type of order to keep everyone on the same page as me.
