Should I convince my family to wait until July vs. June? Sat vs. Friday?

We are going to S. Cal for about a week this summer, only two days at DLR this year. My parents want to go in June before it gets too hot. Reading recent threads about June has me a bit worried. Does anyone know if the AP blockout days tend to be ok in June? We'd go 2 days the 17, 18, or 19th, the 17th & 18th are blocked out for S. Cal APs, and Sat. the 19th is also blocked out for the Deluxe AP. Do you think we'd be better going Thurs & Fri or Thurs & Sat? Or will crowds be better in July? Thanks for any feedback!

Thursday June 17 is a Grad night and DL will close by 9 pm, and DCA around 6 pm.

June 18 will have something new. See Toy Story Midway Mania Modifications Coming June 18 for TS3... That is often a recipe for increased crowds.

The SoCal APs are blocked so that will help. A lot.

What should you do? You will probably be fine with the APs blocked to go in June. I doubt it will be much different from July. If you decide on July then account for this All-Star FanFest (July 9 - 13) : 150,000 visitors? Read it to the end to get dbanzai's helpful comments.
