The option to buy 2018 park tickets is available now. Should I go ahead and buy them? I know prices won't go down, but when do they generally make the price change. Thinking of 4 day hoppers.

The way I do it is when these 2 things collide I purchase:
-I know I am going to the parks
-I have the funds to purchase the tickets

At that point I see no reason to delay purchasing tickets.

Exactly. And if for some reason you cannot go and your tickets expire, the cost can still be applied to new tickets. So if you pay $300 and they expire- and the price goes up to $320- you would just have to pay the extra $20.

My money and my sure trip did indeed collide. I bought the tickets from ARES, Cyber Monday special. I totally spaced LMT club, not sure I want to look now............

Ticket prices have historically increased in mid-late February. Year after year they do increase. With the new rides coming in, I would expect them to go up this upcoming year as well.

I did not know that expired tickets can be applied to new ones. Is there somewhere on the Disneyland website where this is stated? I cannot find it anywhere.

I'm in the same boat, but don't have the number of days nailed down yet. Does anyone have any inkling if the bonus day for parkhoppers will ever come back? The one Orbitz and some others used to have -- buy x day parkhopper and get a free day?

O/T I apologize for interrupting this thread. A ticket with a clear expiration date DOES have value after it has expired? Thanks!
