Hi all! Sorry for jumping in on your section, but I'm renting a 1br villa at Boulder Ridge (through a DISboarder, thanks!). We have 3 kids (8, 5 & 5), but the DVC owner was able to secure a 1br (the Boulder Ridge villas say they only accommodate 4).

We are going to have the kids sleep in the actual bedroom, and DH & I will sleep in the LR. The question is, is there a tiny fold out chair/bed, or should I pack an air mattress? The twins can/will sleep in a bed together, but I'm not sure how well all 3 of them will sleep in one bed - even if it is a king. (Is it?)

Yes, it is a king and yes, bring an air mattress. You will not enjoy sleeping on the pull out sofa.

I would Let the 5 year olds sleep in the pull out and get a small air mattress (use a pool float) for the 8 year old.

The 1 bedroom at boulder ridge accommodates 5 guests....the pullouts are not bad in general....perfect for the 2x5 YO. They have a Murphy bed....for the 8 YO.

Sorry, my mistake....it's the Studio that sleep 5....seems weird but that's what the room category says.

They sell smaller air mattresses that my giant of a 5 year old daughter can sleep in. check amazon and search for toddler air mattress. It will be small enough to pack in one of your suit cases. They will not provide any bedding/towels for the 5th person, but you can request and likely will be able to get additional items, possibly you will be charged for them. Just check with the front desk when you check in.

BRV has a king bed, and a double sleeper sofa. (Might be queen.) No pull-out chair. It is BYOB, and they will not bring you a rollaway.

Bring something for someone.

You'll also need sheets and towels for the fifth person, too. You can purchase a towel pack (four bath towels, two hand towels, four face cloths, one tub mat) for $6 from Housekeeping if you call them. In the one bedroom at BRV, the sleeper sofa is queen sized.

I'd never give up the king bed to any kids. It's MY king bed.

The only person I've tried to give up the King for was my parents and they declined since we were staying on my points and it was only two nights at Aulani.
