Should I book now and adjust later?

We're planning a trip for the first week of May next year.

I'd wanted to stay at CSR, but now I see all of the standard rooms are sold out. We can stay in a king room, but it's a little more expensive than what I wanted to pay.

I was looking around at other resorts and nothing is available at All Star Movies or Music (other than family suites), and only preferred rooms are left at Sports. Seems like POR has a decent selection and I haven't checked Pop yet.

In the past, discounts for this timeframe have come out right after Christmas.

Should I go ahead and book now, and adjust later if a discount comes out that I want? Is it hard to make adjustments? We're trying to do this trip on a relatively tight budget, so staying deluxe is not an option for us right now.

No harm at all in booking now, especially if the resorts you are looking for are starting to fill up. You can always cancel!
