Should I book my flight now Pit-MCO?

I am new to this airfare watching thing. I noticed that from PIT to MCO is 154.50 with a connection or 173 nonstop right now for my dates Nov 29-Dec 9. I really hate dealing with connections with my kids so I don't really want to book the 154 flight. (plus the available return flights are really early and I don't want to fly home that early in the morning)I was wondering if 173 is a good price for nonstop. Should I book now or wait? What is the likelihood that the price will drop more? Any opinions?

I'm not a travel expert at all, but I can tell you that I purchased our airline tickets back in January for our 11/23-12/1 trip. STL-->MCO for $198+taxes, non-stop on TWA. I've been watching TWA almost every day since then and I haven't seen the rate go lower than that.

That's really not a bad price. I've usually paid well over $200 for the prime flights (morning down, late afternoon back) in the past. Prices are down, but if you really want those flights then I would book it. The morning flights to FL usually go fast. You maybe able to get a better deal if you want to leave PIT at 2:00pm or later, but the money you save may not be worth losing time off your vacation. I went with 2 friends in February and the morning flights on a Thursday were outrageous when we were looking for prices last October. We ended up flying down the night before to get a good airfare and getting a cheap room near the airport.

I think it's a good price. We're flying PIT to MCO on US Air Nov 2 non-stop for $169.00. I booked that in Jan. If you like the times I'd book.

well we just had them for 136 a person and then its been hovering around 168.50 per person. but personally I would wait. but that is me. there are going to be a lot more sales for that time frame. besides checking usairs web sight check expedia.com they have contracted fares with usair that are sometimes lower than usairs own sight.

alright, now it is 151 nonstop but only if I take the 8:15 return flight (still too early for me). This is both stressful and fun at the same time. It's like I want to book right now but I keep thinking that something better could pop up tommorrow!! :p
