Should I book Jiko?

I have booked my ADR's for our August Honeymoon and I have 14 nights of DDP. My TS that I have scheduled so far are:

O'Hana's
Citricos (Wedding Lunch)
V & A (Wedding Dinner)
Les Chef's De France
Le Cellier
Kona Cafe
Coral Reef
Boma
Chef Mickey's
California Grill (2TS)
Concourse Steakhouse
Artists Point (2 TS)
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Raglan Road

Some of these are booked for breakfast or lunch.

Anyway my question is, should I book Jiko? I initially had Jiko in my reservation list but decided against it at the last minute. I am willing to use another 2TS for another restaurant and pay OOP for somewhere else. So I really want to know whether you think Jiko would be worth it, considering the reservations I already have? I have read wonderful reviews about this place and we will be staying for 7 nights at AKL in our 2nd week, I just don't know if I should book it. Opinions would be great.

Thanks

Yes, book Jiko! My favorite restaurant on property. A very unique menu and wine list in a beautiful setting. Do it!

Jiko is our absolute favorite! :thumbsup2 Dh & I try to get there every trip ALONE while we put the kids in Simba's Cubhouse.

Give it a try!

Love Jiko! And I think it is a romantic place, too. Just right for a honeymoon.

We are staying in the Epcot area, but we have an ADR at Jiko. Yes, we will travel to AKL just to have dinner. If you are staying there, you should definately plan an ADR.

Yes! Great restaurant-and you'll be staying right there your 2nd week-very convienient.

I don't think I'll ever go to WDW again without dining at Jiko. We just love it. I'd say make the reservation

Take a look at the menu and see if it appeals to you but, I have to say Jiko is one of our favorites. The only downside for us is that we usually stay at Boardwalk and it's a bit of an adventure to get there without a car -- but you'll be right there!!!

Definitely make an ADR for Jiko, it's one of the best restaurants on property. For a real treat, try having appetizers at the "cooking place." You can watch the chefs prepare dishes while conversing about Jiko's different dishes. On occasion, they'll even pass you a little taste. Enjoy!

Jiko is our favorite, it is an amazing dining experience! I am already looking forward to your review of it!:thumbsup2

Well going by all the positive reviews, I think we'll splurge and book it:) I think we will pay OOP for it though, as when I added up the total of the menu items we would likely order, it didn't work out that we would spend 2TS. I think we'd be better off using them on other restaurants and just paying OOP.

I, too, usually stay at the Boardwalk. "Adventure" is certainly the correct choice of words! :)

There have been times when my guests and I thought it was well worth the taxi fare to avoid the adventure of trying to get there via Disney transportation.

We often taxi it there and then take the bus to Downtown Disney after dinner and walk around -- all right, I'll admit it, we shop! -- and then take a bus back to the Boardwalk.

Jiko is a GREAT place to dine. You would not be disappointed if you added it to you list.

My fiance and I are going to be celebrating our honeymoon at Disney in August. We are looking to meet some other couples who will be there at the same time. We will be there on AUgust 7th-12th, followed by a cruise. Congrats on the wedding!

The toughest thing about going to JIKO is trying to figure out what you want to order. I am so hooked on the filet with mac n cheese that it's sooooo tough to order anything else!! I loved the monkfish when they had that but luckily they don't have it anymore or I'd be in real trouble!!

It's gotten to the point that if we dont' go to JIKO during one of our trips that I totally regret it!! We missed it in Oct. and I was so disappointed!! Will not miss it again for any trips. As a matter a fact we've never had the chance to try BOMA because we're always going to JIKO and just to make it more convenient and possible to try BOMA we finally decided to stay at AKL next month...:thumbsup2
